Brief –

Challenge the "Netflixsness" in Netflix
and say endless carousels is not the way to go? Come up with a new way do discover video content

Netflix Premium is a streaming service where the user himself can influence the content of the streaming service by voting for it.

Every week 8 new movie trailers are presented, which the user then has the opportunity to vote their 4 favorite choices. At the end of the week, the 4 movies that have received the most votes will be included in Netflix Premium during a limited time.

One can constantly keep track of how it goes for the movies in the scoreboard that we chose to include in order to engage the users even more. We included what was important for our target group, trailers, IMDb ratings and fewer choices on films but still quality films.

 

We wanted to create a streaming service that encourages its users to engage with the content by giving them the power to participate and influence the content of the service. Netflix Premium is in a mobile format thus mobile-first adapted so that the user always can be able to stay updated but also vote for trailers wherever they are. The application Netflix Premium also has a chrome cast.
